This runs on the first Monday of each month. Its purpose is to encourage all of us to pause and acknowledge our need to be guided and renewed by God's Spirit and to pray for various needs in our congregation, community and overseas.
Midweek Fellowship Groups are groups of people who meet together, usually in someone's house. It is a place where people can belong together and can grow together in their faith. Whether you are just at the beginning of your Christian walk or you have been a Christian for a long time, you are most welcome!

Going to a homegroup is a great way to get more involved in Railway Street Presbyterian Church and to get to know other people. If you have loads of questions about what you have heard in church, then this is the place to be! You can discuss issues about faith and how it affects your everyday lives. Midweek Fellowship Groups meet at various times and places, see our programme. In addition to studying the scripture, our midweek fellowship groups meet up yearly for gatherings to enjoy good food and company!

Presbyterian Women aims to highlight the need for:

We're a bunch of women who meet on the last Monday of each month from 8pm(ish!) in the Brownlee Room to help, encourage and support each other (normally with the help of food!). Whether you fancy a go at something ‘arty crafty' (like banner or jewellery making) or want to hear down-to-earth speakers (like Andy Cardy) or fancy a spot of retail therapy (at the Christmas Continental Market in Belfast) Soul Mates has something to suit everyone (or most of you anyway!) . Please contact Karen Elliott for more details.

The 422 Club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 2 o’clock for 2 hours, hence the name. Our activities consist of three parts:
So, if you are free, why not join us for talks, chat, friendship and fellowship and also participate in visits to places of interest, theatre, shopping, 10-pin-bowling, etc? Come and join us for Sunday lunch and enjoy a day without having to cook, stay to chat for as long as you like and leave when you have to.
422 is open to everyone! Click programmes for more details, or contact Moya McLean, George Toombs, Maureen Buchanan (Out & About) and Laura Mulholland (Sunday Lunches).

Our church has a marvellous Pastoral Care and Friendship Visitors Team that has touched the hearts of many with their warm and friendly service. They befriend ‘house bound’ members of our congregation, organise a tea and evening service for our senior members, provide catering at funerals and visit the families of bereaved members. The team is currently in the capable hands of Norma Coggins.

Helping Hands meets on the 1st Thursday of each month. We enjoy great fun and fellowship together and that is one of the most important things about our meetings. On average we would have about 12 - 15 people each month and of course we always have a cup of tea!!
We knit (well most of us do!) hats, scarves, blankets, sweaters etc. These are distributed to different charities. We have sent boxes to PCI Malawi and we also support Project Romania. We knit hats for the Mission to Seamen in Cork and have an annual visit from Walter Burrell to collect them! We have also sent special hats for premature babies to RVH for Sick Children. Contact Phyllis Spence for more details.
Do you fancy a walking challenge? Why not meet up with the Railway Street Ramblers? We meet on the third Saturday of each month at 1pm (earlier during the summer) in the our church's car park. Some of our walking activities have been Slieve Croob, Mourne mountains, Lagan towpaths and Holywood to Bangor. Sometimes we would go on weekend trips, e.g. Donegal, and we have even been away to Austria in the last two years. So look out your walking gear and come to us to get fit, have fellowship and fun!
